Definition
Slower, gentler, repeated joint movement within comfortable range — the lower-force cousin of manipulation, used when examination or preference calls for a softer tool.
Why it matters to you
Nervous patients, arthritic joints and certain conditions do better with mobilization. Good care selects the tool; it doesn't default to one.
