Agreement & who we are

Effective date: July 3, 2026. These Terms of Use govern this website, operated for Chiropractic Health Center, the Reno, Nevada practice of Dr. Alan S. Bader, DC — Chiropractic Physician, Nevada License B-567 (verify at the Chiropractic Physicians’ Board of Nevada), 294 E. Moana Lane, Suite 28, Reno, NV 89502, (775) 829-7575. By using the site you accept these terms; if you don't accept them, the phone works just as well — every service we offer can be arranged by calling.

Nevada regulation treats a licensee's website as advertising by that licensee, so let's be explicit: this website is published for Alan S. Bader, DC, licensed chiropractic physician, and copies of site content are retained as Nevada's advertising-records rule (NAC 634.518) requires. Questions or complaints about a chiropractic physician may also be directed to the Chiropractic Physicians’ Board of Nevada.

The most important term: this website is not medical care

Everything on this site — condition guides, question pages, the exercise library, the glossary, blog posts, chat replies — is general education, not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment for you. Reading this website, submitting a form, emailing, or chatting with our virtual assistant does not create a doctor–patient relationship. That relationship begins only when you are examined and accepted as a patient at the clinic.

Health information ages, individual situations differ, and no web page can examine you. Never disregard or delay professional medical advice because of something you read here. Decisions about your health belong in a conversation with a licensed clinician who has actually examined you — at this clinic or anywhere else you choose.

Emergencies: if you may be experiencing a medical emergency — chest pain, stroke signs, trouble breathing, new loss of bladder or bowel control, numbness in the groin or saddle area, the worst headache of your life, major trauma — call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room now. Do not use this website, and do not wait for a callback. Our own pages say the same thing, on purpose, everywhere.

The Atlas virtual assistant (AI) — specific terms

• Atlas is an automated AI assistant, clearly labeled as such. It is not Dr. Bader, not a clinician, and not a human — it answers front-desk questions (hours, insurance process, first-visit logistics) and collects callback requests.
• AI systems can be wrong. Atlas's replies are provided as-is for convenience; the clinic's actual policies, the doctor's actual guidance at your visit, and these written pages control over anything Atlas says. If something Atlas told you matters, confirm it with a human: (775) 829-7575.
• Atlas cannot give medical advice and is instructed to decline and to route emergency language to 911. Please do not submit medical details in chat; see the Privacy Policy for how chat messages are processed (including by our AI service provider).
• Callback estimates Atlas mentions (“usually within the hour during office hours”) are good-faith service goals, not contractual promises.
• Do not use the assistant to submit unlawful, abusive or deliberately deceptive content, or to probe or attack the system.

Appointment requests are requests, not appointments

Submitting a form or chat request asks us to call you back; it does not reserve a time. An appointment exists only when the office confirms it with you directly. If your situation changes or worsens while you wait for a callback, call us — or if it may be an emergency, call 911. Requests are answered in the order and priority the front desk judges appropriate; acute pain gets priority within the schedule.

Fees, insurance & estimates

This website intentionally publishes no prices. Fees are discussed by phone or in person, and insurance benefits are verified before your first visit so you know your expected costs up front. Nevada regulation requires advertised fee offers to be honored for a period after they run (NAC 634.556) — one of several reasons we quote real numbers to real people rather than posting them here.

Insurance verification is a courtesy performed with the information you and your insurer provide; final coverage decisions belong to your insurer under your policy. Verification is not a guarantee of payment, and you remain responsible for amounts your plan doesn't cover — which is exactly why we check first and tell you before care begins.

If you are uninsured or self-pay, you have a federal right to a written Good Faith Estimate of expected charges before scheduled care. Ask for it; we provide it as the No Surprises Act requires.

Educational content, citations & review process

Health content on this site is written for general audiences and medically reviewed by Dr. Alan S. Bader, DC — Chiropractic Physician; pages display their last-reviewed date. Citations to research and clinical guidelines are provided for context; they don't imply the cited authors endorse this clinic, and evidence evolves. Where the honest answer to a question is “the evidence is mixed” or “chiropractic care can't fix that,” the page says so — if you ever find a page that has drifted from that standard, tell us and we'll fix it.

Reviews & testimonials on this site

Patient quotes on this site are real reviews from public Google and Yelp profiles, quoted word-for-word with ellipses marking trims only. They are individual experiences, not promises — results vary, and care decisions follow examination, never testimonials. No reviewer was compensated. The unfiltered originals, including any critical reviews, live on the public profiles we link to.

Intellectual property & limited license

The site's content — text, page structure, graphics, the spine mark, photographs of our clinic and staff — belongs to the clinic or its licensors. You may view, print and share pages for personal, non-commercial purposes with attribution intact. You may not republish the content as your own, scrape it into datasets for resale, or use the clinic's or the doctor's name to imply endorsement. Search engines and AI assistants may index and quote this site with attribution — our robots.txt says so explicitly.

Acceptable use

• No attempting to breach, probe or overload the site or its forms.
• No submitting false appointment requests, spam, or content that is unlawful, defamatory or abusive.
• No automated form submissions or bot traffic to interactive features (Turnstile will object, and so will we).
• No misrepresenting your identity to the office, or submitting requests on another person's behalf without authority.
• No use of the site that violates Nevada or federal law.

What you send us

By submitting a message (form, email, chat), you give us permission to use it to respond to you and operate the practice. Don't send confidential business ideas or anything you need kept secret beyond what our Privacy Policy promises. If you send feedback about the website, we may use it to improve the site without obligation to you.

Third-party sites & services

Links to third parties — Google Maps directions, our public review profiles, the state licensing board, research citations — are provided for convenience. Those sites have their own terms and privacy policies; we don't control them and aren't responsible for them. A link is not an endorsement, in either direction.

Disclaimers

THE WEBSITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED — INCLUDING FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS. NOTHING IN THIS SECTION LIMITS THE OBLIGATIONS WE OWE PATIENTS AS A LICENSED PRACTICE — IT ADDRESSES THE WEBSITE ONLY.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent Nevada law permits, the clinic and its owner, staff and website operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from use of the website — including reliance on general educational content contrary to its stated purpose, or website unavailability — and total website-related liability will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100). Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing here applies to the clinical care of patients, which is governed by Nevada healthcare law and the documents you sign at the clinic, not by website terms.

Indemnity (kept honest and narrow)

If you use the website unlawfully — for example, attacking it, scraping it for fraud, or impersonating someone in a submission — you agree to cover the losses and reasonable costs that misuse causes us. This clause is aimed at abuse, not at patients asking questions.

Governing law, venue & disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about the website belongs in the state or federal courts sitting in Washoe County, Nevada, and you consent to that venue. Before filing anything, please just call us — most website problems are fixed in one conversation. Complaints about professional conduct may be made to the Chiropractic Physicians’ Board of Nevada at any time; nothing in these terms limits that right.

Housekeeping

• Severability: if part of these terms is held unenforceable, the rest stands.
• No waiver: our not enforcing a term today doesn't waive it tomorrow.
• Entire agreement (website only): these terms plus the Privacy Policy, Accessibility Statement, Medical Disclaimer and Good Faith Estimate notice are the whole agreement about website use. Patient care is governed by separate consents and law.
• Changes: updates post here with a new effective date; continued use after a change is acceptance of it.
