Wellness & Maintenance Care
Optional maintenance chiropractic care in Reno — honestly framed, never pressured, and clearly separated from what insurance covers.
Optional. Honest. Your call.
Some patients, once recovered, choose periodic visits because they've learned what keeps them feeling and moving well — a monthly or seasonal tune-up for spines that work hard. We're glad to provide that care, and we're honest about its nature: maintenance is a personal wellness choice, not a medical necessity — insurance (including Medicare) doesn't cover it, results vary person to person, and nobody at this clinic will ever pressure you into a 'wellness plan' contract. The patients who choose it tend to keep choosing it; that's the only sales pitch you'll get.
What this includes
- Periodic maintenance adjustments — your schedule, not a contract
- Recheck of the exercises keeping you durable
- Early catch of building problems before they flare
- Transparent cash pricing — no insurance games
- Zero pressure, zero packages, zero contracts
- Honest talk about what maintenance can and can't do
Every service starts the same way: a real examination and a plain-English report of findings. Call (775) 829-7575 or request an appointment online — same-week openings are usually available.
This page is education, not medical advice for your specific situation — an examination is how care decisions get made. If you may be experiencing an emergency, call 911. Full medical disclaimer.

Is maintenance care worth it?
For many patients, subjectively yes — they feel better and function better on a rhythm. The honest caveat: robust evidence for prevention is limited, insurance doesn't cover it, and it's genuinely optional. Try it, measure how you feel, decide.
How often is typical?
Anywhere from monthly to a few times a year — driven by your body and preference, not a printed schedule. Plenty of patients simply call when they feel the need.
Why doesn't insurance cover this?
Insurance covers medically necessary care for diagnosed problems. Maintenance is wellness care by definition — which is exactly why we price it transparently in cash terms and keep it separate on your bill.
What patients say
Reno Patients, In Their Own Words
“First time here… Friendly and efficient receptionist, she explained everything in detail. I saw Dr. Bader. Listened to my areas of pain, explained many things and my first adjustment was great. He is also friendly, has good “bedside” manners. They are a hometown health provider.”
“I’ve been seeing Dr. Bader for the last 15 years. He is extremely knowledgeable and has a great bedside manor. The office is very well run… Most insurance is accepted and if it’s not, the cash plan is very reasonable. Walk in’s are acceptable and same day appointments are most likely.”
“Dr Bader is a Super Chiropractor! Palmer educated.”
“They actually work on fixing your issues with adjustments and therapy and get you in and out of the office in a timely manner.”
