Examinations & Second Opinions
Thorough chiropractic examinations and honest second opinions in Reno — from a doctor with 360 hours of postgraduate orthopedics training who helped examine Nevada's chiropractors.
The examination is the product
Some clinics treat the exam as paperwork before the real selling starts. Here it's the opposite — the examination is the foundation everything rests on, and it's where Dr. Bader's credentials show: a 360-hour, three-year postgraduate program in chiropractic orthopedics focused specifically on diagnosis, plus years administering licensure examinations for the Nevada State Board of Chiropractic Examiners' test committee. If you've been told wildly different things by different providers, or you're facing a care plan that feels like a sales pitch, a genuinely independent evaluation — with findings explained in plain English — is a service in itself.
What this includes
- Comprehensive orthopedic and neurological examination
- Red-flag screening at every new-patient visit
- Second opinions on existing care plans — no strings
- Imaging review and referral coordination when warranted
- Plain-English report of findings before any care
- Honest 'this isn't a chiropractic case' referrals when true
Every service starts the same way: a real examination and a plain-English report of findings. Call (775) 829-7575 or request an appointment online — same-week openings are usually available.
This page is education, not medical advice for your specific situation — an examination is how care decisions get made. If you may be experiencing an emergency, call 911. Full medical disclaimer.

Will you pressure me into a care plan?
No — and you can hold us to that in writing on this page. You'll get findings, options and honest recommendations; the decision is always yours, and 'let me think about it' is a perfectly good answer.
Can you look at my X-rays or MRI from elsewhere?
Yes — bring them or have them sent. Imaging read alongside a fresh examination is far more useful than imaging read alone.
What if you find something that isn't chiropractic?
Then you'll hear that clearly, with a referral to the right kind of provider. Screening patients out is as much the job as treating patients in — it's also why physicians comfortably refer patients here.
What patients say
Reno Patients, In Their Own Words
“First time here… Friendly and efficient receptionist, she explained everything in detail. I saw Dr. Bader. Listened to my areas of pain, explained many things and my first adjustment was great. He is also friendly, has good “bedside” manners. They are a hometown health provider.”
“I’ve been seeing Dr. Bader for the last 15 years. He is extremely knowledgeable and has a great bedside manor. The office is very well run… Most insurance is accepted and if it’s not, the cash plan is very reasonable. Walk in’s are acceptable and same day appointments are most likely.”
“Dr Bader is a Super Chiropractor! Palmer educated.”
“They actually work on fixing your issues with adjustments and therapy and get you in and out of the office in a timely manner.”
