Insurance & Payment, Explained Straight

We verify your benefits before your first visit — you’ll know your costs up front. Cash-pay welcome with transparent pricing.

The promise: verified before visit one

Insurance surprise-billing survives on vagueness, so this office removes the vagueness: bring your card (or read it to us over the phone) and we check your actual chiropractic benefits — deductible status, visit limits, copays — before your first appointment. You decide with real numbers.

The honest Medicare paragraph

Medicare Part B covers manual spinal manipulation to correct a demonstrated spinal problem, when medically necessary. After your Part B deductible, Medicare pays 80% of its approved amount; you (or your supplement) pay 20%. Medicare does not cover maintenance/wellness care, X-rays ordered at chiropractic offices, massage, or most extras. That's the whole rule — and it's explained again, personally, before your care begins.

Auto & work injuries

Different systems, both handled here daily: auto injuries through med-pay or third-party claims (bring your claim number), work injuries through workers' compensation (authorization rules vary — call with your details and we'll tell you honestly how it works). Dr. Bader's formal training in independent-medical-evaluation reporting means the documentation is built to those systems' standards from day one.

Cash-pay, without the mystery

Uninsured or prefer not to use coverage? Cash-pay pricing here is transparent and quoted before you book — call (775) 829-7575 and ask exactly what a first visit costs. Nevada rules require advertised prices to be honored for 90 days, which is why we quote current prices by phone rather than printing numbers that could go stale. Under the federal No Surprises Act, uninsured and self-pay patients are also entitled to a Good Faith Estimate — ours come standard.

This page is education, not medical advice for your specific situation — an examination is how care decisions get made. If you may be experiencing an emergency, call 911. Full medical disclaimer.

Insurance Questions, Answered

Which insurance plans do you accept?

Most major health plans cover medically necessary chiropractic care, and we work with the major carriers routinely. Because plans within a single carrier vary enormously, our promise is verification, not logos: bring your card or call, and we confirm your actual benefits — deductible status, visit limits, copay — before your first visit.

How does Medicare work here?

Medicare Part B covers manual spinal manipulation when medically necessary — you pay 20% coinsurance after your deductible. Medicare does not cover maintenance care, X-rays at chiropractic offices, or massage. We explain your specific situation before care begins, and we never blur the maintenance line on a bill.

What about car accidents and work injuries?

Auto injuries typically run through med-pay on your own policy or the at-fault driver's insurance; work injuries through workers' compensation (which has provider rules that vary — call us with your claim details). Both get documentation to the standards those systems demand — a particular strength of this office.

What if I don't have insurance?

Transparent cash-pay pricing, quoted before you book — call and ask. There's a dedicated cash-pay intake form on the First Visit page, and no prepaid plans or contracts, ever.

Do you waive copays?

No — Nevada prohibits advertising waived copays/deductibles, and routinely waiving them violates insurance rules. A clinic offering to 'eat your copay' is showing you how it treats rules generally. Our version of a favor: verified benefits, clean bills, honest prices.
